The Memorial Day Recognition and Veteran's Memorial Service will be held in the Cedar City Cemetery at 9am and is conducted by American Legion Post 74 of Cedar City, Utah. The ceremony will include a Piper drum and bagpipe band, military salute, flag raising and lowering, and a short talk by an honored veteran regarding the origins, purpose and promise of veteran sacrifices in behalf of our community. All veterans are invited to stand in ranks with Legion and VFW members, full or partial uniform wear is encouraged. Family members of veterans and the general public are encouraged to attend.
