Skiing & Snowboarding
Brian Head Resort caters to skiers of all levels. Uncrowded slopes, consistent conditions, and trail variety combine to provide an exciting run for every member of your family. Whether it's the entire mountain of beginner runs at Navajo Mountain, the wide range of intermediate and advanced trails at Giant Steps, Brian Head has the perfect fit for you. Serious lines await expert skiers at 11,307 feet. The Peak Express snow-cat service takes skiers to a world of double-black diamond steeps, cliff bands and untracked powder.
Brian Head's Winter Sports School specializes in Learn To Ski programs that include lesson, lift ticket, skis, boots and poles. With several programs devoted to ensure your success, our Winter Sports School is all you need to conquer the mountain.
Plus, it only gets better for skiing at Brian Head Resort with the addition of our first Half Pipe, a great place for advance skiers to put the new twin-tip technology to the test. Brian Head Resort's terrain parks are also open to advanced skiers looking to defy gravity and get airborne.
Brian Head Resort is dedicated to snowboarding and features incredible natural terrain, sculpted parks, carvable groomers, and famous monthly contests. As one of the first resorts to welcome snowboarding in Utah more than 10 years ago, we're committed to being Utah's leader in parks, competitions, and hospitality. And remember, we always greet you with the same hospitality extended to skiers.
New for this season, we're committed to building the largest snowboard park Brian Head Resort has ever had. The new 'top to bottom' experience allows riders to flow from element to element starting at the summit of Giant Steps ending at the Bear Paw Pitch Run-Out.
Snowboarding is allowed on all Brian Head Resort terrain, plus the latest demos are available at Giant Steps Lodge. Our learn-to-snowboard programs guarantee to get guests making turns and having fun their first time on a board.
