Snoshoeing in Brian HeadTour Brian Head on an amazing network of high-alpine Nordic trails snaking through town and into the backcountry. Two standard conditions are either powder or corn, with occasional transitional snow conditions (crust) on a variety of marked, groomed, or skied-in trails. Brian Head's ideal mix of abundant sunshine, cool days, snowfall and outstanding scenery combine to offer some of the best cross-country opportunities anywhere in the world.

Overall, the area totals roughly 50 Km of marked trails and another 300 Km of backcountry routes. One of the more popular trails accessed within Brian Head is the Town Trail. This fun and well maintained trail system connects most Brian Head businesses and lodging properties a tour to Brian Head's early heritage on the 5 km Pioneer Cabins Loop.

Starting at Town Hall, the Pioneer Cabins Loop takes you back to Brian Head's western heritage on an easy/intermediate groomed adventure that can last an hour or all day.

The red-rock hoodoos and giant multi-color amphitheater of Cedar Breaks National Monument is easily accessed via a superb network maintained Nordic trails. Favorite routes include the Alpine Pond Trail, Rattlesnake Rim, North Rim, and Cedar Breaks Road.

Other terrific area routes include Lowder Ponds, Sunspot Rim, Second Left Hand Canyon, Stud Flat-Snow Ridge, Twisted Forest, Brian Head Peak, Sidney Peaks, and Panguitch Lake.
